Mr. Tait lives in Denver and teaches elementary and middle years music in Denver Public Schools. He has a Bachelor's of Music Education from the University of Northern Colorado. Tait is passionate about teaching with the Orff-Schulwerk method of learning music and is a certified Orff, Level I and II instructor. He participates in Camp Oonie Koonie Cha, an early childhood education music camp based in Boulder, CO. Tait loves when his students express wonder and enthusiasm at the amazing sounds that they can make using their voice, musical movements, and REALLY COOL INSTRUMENTS. Parents of Tait's public school students rave about their kids coming home singing songs from their performances. A recent parent commented, "My child came home and pretended to be Mr. Tait! He opened his dinosaur book and traced Longneck and Apatosaurus with his finger as he slid his voice up and down. Triceratops sang Opera and T-Rex even growled in a bass voice! How imaginative! My child SIMPLY LOVES MUSIC NOW!"
