Kathy is a preschool teacher, wife, and mom to two music-loving little girls. Music and children have been ever-present threads in the fabric of her life. Her earliest memories are of listening to her daddy whistle to the songs on the radio and of singing in the cherub choir at church. As she grew up, she began to realize her ability to learn by incorporating music into her studies. She wrote songs and rhymes to help her memorize facts and information, which played a vital role in her academic success. She even taught them to her friends and classmates! In high school, she worked with young children in the Special Olympics. While attending college, she became involved with the Ronald McDonald House, allowing her to work with children with serious illnesses and their families. After receiving a degree in Marketing and Management, she married her high school sweetheart and started a family. When her children started preschool, Kathy found herself spending all her time volunteering there. Her love of children led to becoming a certified preschool teacher. She fell in love with Musicare while watching the program's enchantment on the children in her care. Kathy is thrilled to be a part of the Musicare team!
