Laura has been collecting children's songs and musical games since the age of seven and taught her first music class at twenty. In 2002, Laura was the youngest workshop leader at the Children's Music Network national conference and the following year published an article in the organization's semiannual magazine. She currently sings with families around the Boston area and teaches early childhood music as a certified Musicare instructor. At Emerson College she completed a senior honors thesis on song and community, and she enjoys bringing the experience of group singing to audiences of all ages. Laura loves singing and dancing with children of all ages, and she considers herself lucky to be able to bring the gifts of fun and playfulness to kids and their families.
