Gregory James Taylor of Durham, NC died unexpectedly, September 2, 2007.
Born January 3, 1960 in Bethesda, MD, raised in Virginia, Greg attended the University of Miami, earning a Bachelor's of Music in music engineering technology. An accomplished musician and songwriter, Greg loved teaching music to children, most recently at Carolina Friends School, Durham. Beloved husband and soul mate, brother, friend, teacher, Greg's gentle nature, sweet spirit and wise counsel will be enormously missed by all whose lives he touched.
To Greg's many friends and students, please join his family in celebration of Greg's life Sunday, October 28 at West Point on the Eno Park, beginning at noon. Bring musical instruments, chairs or blankets, and food to share as we remember Greg and his music along the Eno River he loved so much. Alternate arrangements have been made to meet at Friends School in case of inclement weather.
