Hilarie Samei

Memphis, Tennessee

Hilarie was raised by a very musical family, so she’s always had music in her bones. She plays guitar, writes music, and sings with a local band in Memphis. She received her B.A. in Philosophy and French at Rhodes College in 2009, and her M.A. in Applied Linguistics in 2011, with a focus on teaching English as a Second Language. She has taught French and Spanish to children from 10 months to 18 years of age. Hilarie also volunteers at St. Vincent’s Center for Handicapped Children in Port-au-Prince, Haiti as a translator and affection-provider to the orphans with disabilities who live there. She is very excited to be joining the Musicare family, and using her particular passion for singing silly songs for the benefit and development of tomorrow’s leaders.
